This adventurous kitty is Dot, Dot has spina bifida, which means she can’t use her back legs at all. However, once she laid eyes on the 7′ cat tree in the lobby of Tabby’s Place (the cat sanctuary where she lives), she forgot all about her disability.
Angela T. of Tabby’s Place tells us; Dot (you can sponsor her!) came to Tabby’s Place from Virginia, where she was born to a feral mama. As you can see, she is flourishing – despite having been diagnosed with birth defects so severe that vets initially considered them “incompatible with life.” We all want to be a bit more like Dot for her courage and joy.

Thanks to a Facebook campaign of months, staff of the Cats Cradle Center in Fargo, North Dakota, were able to arrange a life-saving surgery for Corky, a 7-month-old rescue kitten born with leg deformities. In the video you can see Corky after his operation. He will need a six month recovery period involving daily therapy, before he can walk like a normal cat.
You can still donate for Corky’s surgery costs and his recovery at the shelter’s webpage.
