On June 23 a rare Sumatran rhino calf was born at Indonesia’s Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary. Within an hour after birth the little baby boy stood on his own legs and began nursing from his mother Ratu.

At the moment their are less than 200 Sumatran rhinos living in Indonesia and Malaysia. It’s the first time in 124 years that a Sumatran rhino has been born in an Indonesian and Asian facility.
